Greetings.

Does anyone have an informed opinion regarding which of the available

devices is superior?

Medical's Conserve Plus?

Corin Medical's Cormet 2000?

Midland Medical's BHP implant?

Are there any attributes (wear, material used, dislocation chances,

etc) that would make a person choose one over another?

Thanks so much for your imput.

" This is a contorversial topic and can be explored in the archives.

The BHR is cast. Midland Medical feels that a cast in porosity which

is then coated with hydroxyapatite creates a unified stronger surface

which promotes bone integration. They feel the heat treated sintering

process (C+ Cormet)could possibly weaken, break, and the beads could

create abrasion between the 2 surfaces. Check out Midlands site for

the explanation. "
