I live in Boston, have heard great things about Dr. Gross in SC, but I have family near Dr Stachniw in Galesburg, IL. Any advice about either of these surgeons would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for your help. Jim (Quasimodo) ################ My reply: Dr. Stachniw resurf'd my left hip in May 2002. I'm very pleased with him the hospital staff. He had his own hips resurf'd by Dr. Gross in Nov. 2002.....You'd be in great hands with either Dr., IMHO.... Guest guest
Dr. Gross is an extraordinary surgeon and an extremely caring person. He is also one of the most experienced doctors doing this surgery. I flew from Iowa to South Carolina, and I am more than happy to go back for the follow ups. Dr. Gross, Lee Webb, and the entire staff are very special people. When I needed knee surgery, I didn't even consider anyone else. Please feel free to email me directly at skatergp@... if you'd like.
