But after a few months on Armour it started getting better...but remember it takes a lot of time with the skin to get back to normal. It oh - that's you ...hey...yea...so you've been on the Armour for a while..and still having problems? I just do very rarely. i have to really use very little products on my skin. I like the Eucerin foaming wash for facial skin and then just cetaphil moisturizer. neutrogena stuff for any spots. are you having problems with skin everywhere on your body - or just facial? Guest guest
, why do you think that you might need progesterone cream at your age? Progesterone cream awakens the estrogen receptors which makes the estrogen that you have more available. It is the estrogen that causes breast tenderness. Lynda (in the UK) Breast tenderness with Progesterone cream??? ANyone have breast tenderness from using progesterone cream? I have been using it for 3 days and my boobs are a little bruised-like feeling. I am not near my period, so it does not make sense. This happened to me before when i tried to use progesterone cream. I am 33. Thanks!
Guest guest
Hi Lynda, thyroid function, the breast lumpiness that I have, and general good health. Plus, Since the whole Hashimoto's nightmare, my skin is dreadful. It used to be so clear. I thought this might help, but it appears that it is making my skin worse. This is exactly what happened when i tried this about 6 months ago. I guess I am chucking the progesterone cream, huh? Bye the way, my Gyno thinks I might have some endometriosis going on. I am not entirely sure he is right. What has happened is that my uterus has fallen from a very big baby and then soon another 20 months later. Also, my uterus is now tilted backwards and folded to some degree. It's just one more thing to deal with - UGH! I just hoped that this would help with all that stuff . I was told that it was good for my > , > why do you think that you might need progesterone cream at your age? > Progesterone cream awakens the estrogen receptors which makes the estrogen that you have more available. Guest guest
Hi Lynda, Oops. Meant to say that I am taking this for thyroid function, the breast lumpiness that I have, and general good health. Plus, since the whole Hashimoto's nightmare, my skin is dreadful. Guest guest
, I also had a backward-tilting uterus after two babies and they weren't even large babies, I think this happens to many women. I had mine corrected surgically. When you say your skin is so dreadful now, in what way? Do you have acne? How's your sex drive? I am wondering whether you might have a hormonal imbalance and your testosterone is too high. Lynda (in the UK) Re: Breast tenderness with Progesterone cream??? Hi Lynda, Oops. Guest guest
Hi, : I read Dr. Lee's book " What your doctor may not tell you about perimenopause " on vacation last month. It was fantastic and he really stresses the benefits of progesterone cream. I don't know how old you are, but I'm 45 and having all kinds of problems -- I can't wait to try it myself, in fact, I'm waiting until after my next period. To make a long story short, Dr. Lee says your breasts will become tender at first as the estrogen receptors are flooded with progesterone (or the other way around) but that it will go away as things stabilize. It's really a great book, if you're interested. Oh, I just read you're 33. His book is written for women ages 30 to 50. Progesterone supports thyroid and adrenal glands too. And if you have endometriosis, that's a sign of estrogen dominance, so you would want to supplement with progesterone. > > ANyone have breast tenderness from using progesterone cream? Guest guest
Hi , sorry I don't know the name of the procedure, as far as I remember (it was a loooong time ago) the gynae said he would put a few stitches in to hold it in place Sorry I can't be more help. Lynda Re: Breast tenderness with Progesterone cream??? Hi Lynda, Nope, sex-drive is non-existent and acne is not THAT bad. Not high testoterone. I suspent it's just my thyroid again since the levels have dropped considerably. Do you know that my gyno says: hysterectomy! Please tell me the procedure you had done. I knew there was certainly another way - bastards. Just take everything out and pop these pills and everything will be okay. Jerk! I am 33 for crying out loud. I don't want my uterus yanked out. Sorry to vent there lol. Thanks for your help!!!!!!
