I'm anxious to hear how his communication might speed things along for you and help get your treatment on the right track. At least you are finding out what is wrong.....without having to go thru a bunch of hoops to get there. Thats always a plus. Good luck, and hopefully they'll be able to do something for you! Guest guest Posted November 17, 2004 Report Share Posted November 17, 2004 Tonia, Tricia, Donna, everyone thanks...The nuerologist got the rheumatologist to move up my appt to next wed which is great news. I go for my EEG and Vision test also on Wed...so it will be a long and exhausting day..especially since the EEG is supposed to be done on sleep deprevation. It will be an interesting Thanksgiving since I have to drive 45 mins to my mom's for dinner..and will probably be napping before appetizers are served. At least the neurologist is getting things moving for me. The Rheumatologist is most likely going to start remicade infusions since my ins will not cover methatrexate but medicare will cover remicade. So I am hoping they don't try to start the remicade next wednesday...I will be very sick and exhausted already without going through that as well...but the conversation I just had with the nurse from his office makes it sound like it's a good possibility i will have an infusion that day.
