Life is forever changing. So I'll work on patience. WIth love,Lyn

Lyn,

I am sorry that you were feeling low and yes the only thing we can count on is that life is always changing . So we endure the bad and pray for the good. Patience is a hard one to work on especially when you are in a lot of pain. So Lyn I hope you

have a wonderful Sunday and watch out for all those gob;ins that'll be out tonight.

Hi Lin,

I'll open by asking if you or anyone else has had a problem with

RSD spreading to buttocks and backs of thighs. It is really

becoming a problem and I have trouble sitting. Having trouble

standing and having trouble sitting leaves only laying which has its

own set of problems. I am grateful that the symptoms over my left

arm and back comes and then goes for periods. At least I

have " change " . If I have my dear next to me his body

warmth

directly contacting my skin seems to reduce the " freeze pain "

I

have regardless if it is in my rear, leg, back or face. Last night

I gently buried my various parts on him and felt some relief. It

isn't just heat because a heating pad doesn't feel the same.

Anyone

else have this response?

And thank you for the good wishes through the highs and lows.

Today is a new day. My dear friend, Gail, at 54 passed away in

June. She battled cancer for many years. She was there for me in

my horrible years with RSD. And I was there for her. I remember

one year I was hobbling around taking care of her after one of her

many extensive surgeries. It was the sick caring for the sick!

What a picture we made. We were such a mess together. Bless her

heart. I miss her very much. I find myself thinking of her in new

ways every day. She has become my inspiration to make the most

of " this " day, " this " moment. Even the last few days

she carried

the thought that she wasn't leaving yet. Then she was gone.

And

I know she'd gladly take my place to live just one more day where

she could be with the people who meant the most to her. So I will

do that for her and for me. I will make the most of every single

day. It will be on my terms and in my own way with what I have to

work with at the moment.

I don't know if you checked your mail yet. I was late getting

your

mail because it is new for me to have a yahoo address. I forget

that I even have it! It will become a habit after using it a few

more times! Hope I didn't overload you with too long of a letter.

With love and caring, Lyn

Hi Lyn,

I have it in my hips but not buttocks. I have trouble with anyone touching the areas that hurt, especially my knees, I can't have the covers on my left knee because of the fall I took. My daughter wants me to talk to the doctor to see if I can go back to PT to help me with my balance, of course the fact that I have always been a klutz doesn't have anything to do with it. In fact the only one in the family that is worse than me is her husband. My father was a klutz too, it was a joke for awhile that we were taking turns, because he would get hurt then I would and so on and so on.

Anyway I am glad that you have found some relief from your freezing pain and I am sure that doesn't mind either :-))

I hope you have a great Sunday,

Lin

Hello Pam,

So you know what I am talking about! These many layers of pain are

inseparable and hard to explain. This " freeze " pain as I

call it

that turns into a horrendous aching has been the most difficult to

describe. Is there a technical name for it? If I had naturally warm

hands I think I could help myself at times but I am blessed

with " cold hands warm h----- " as the saying goes. They come

in

handy when someone has a headache! I just place my freezing cold

hands on a forehead and presto Ice Packs! LOL

Thank you, Pam for your kind words, they feel really good,

With love, Lyn

..

Hi Lin,

Yes, that is the paradox for me. It hurts to be touched and it

hurts to move my limbs yet if I can do it in a certain way it can

help temporarily until some other body part starts screaming

louder . Makes no sense to me whatsoever! It sure brings out the

detective in me.

Take care this evening! With love, Lyn
