Guest guest
CT uses physical therapist, occupational therapists, and nurses (RNs). These are then fully trained to fit docbands properly. This is intentional on CT's parts and they prefer these specialties vs orthotists. Orthos are trained on many types of orthotic devices, and their training should include cranial bands - since that is what they work with. However not all orthos are trained in banding. I wouldn't use ortho vs therapist as a criteria. I think if you prefer CT at this point, go ahead with them. -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > Hi-I have two consultations set up next week. Guest guest
I definitely would NOT be concerned. We went to CT in AZ and we met most of the staff there. They all knew what they were doing and I never once was concerned with the care my son recieved. CT is solely trained to band babies using the DOC band. I would definitely go with them since that option is available to you. lisa > > > > Hi-I have two consultations set up next week.
