I'm a newbie

Hello Everyone,

My name is Sandy and I just found this site today. I was diagnosed

with SLE about 6 years ago. I have been reading through the posts and

am noticing many " symptoms " being mentioned that I did not know could

be caused by the lupus. I have severe headaches, nausea, nosebleeds,

and interrupted short term memory. I never associated these with the

lupus and neither has my doctor. Of course most of the time the doc

isn't any help anyway. It is nice to find a place where folks

actually talk about what is going on with their illness. Thanks to

everyone for sharing.

Hi Sandy, I am glad you joined. Pretty neat that you noticed that we share the same symptoms as you and we have lupus also! It makes us feel validated! Maybe the doc isn't much help because he is the wrong kind of dr. Do you go to a rheumatologist? That is the kind of Dr you need. If he doesn't understand what you are talking about, get a new one ASAP. Keep reading, there is a lot of info and comfort here. Cheryl in CA
