Guest guest
Arlo Guthrie spent his day at the Armed Forces Induction Center as hilariously detailed in "Alice's Restaurant" Cliff, I had to laugh. We just made one of our daughters watch Alice's Restaurant. Sad to say the culturally deprived child did not enjoy it nearly as much as we did! LOL. Guest guest
Cliff - Now that certainly is an idea worth consideration. Perhaps it might be more appropriate for us to pull together ideas of what our new last name might be? I'll defer to you for the first contribution since, in all fairness, the suggestion was yours. Well? Barbara and all -Here's my humble suggestion...cut the unfeeling, ungrateful jerks loose and move into a huge RSD compound where we KNOW we'll get what we need from SOMEONE!!!Peace, love and pain relief!!!Cliff
Guest guest
Very amusing, Cliff, but won't your wife take issue? Oh, wait, sillly me...Your wife doesn't have RSD so naturally she would not be among us. I'll have to stew over your proposal. It is certainly one of the oddest I've ever received. Barbara (actually the Torrey reference in the Torrey Pines course is a distant relative. Cliff Huber wrote: > Cliff - Now that certainly is an idea worth consideration. Well? BarbaraBarbara -I've lived in Southern California for a very long time. The Spanish influence has pervaded much of my cultural awareness. So, in keeping with the years of California brainwashing I've received, I hereby suggest we name our commune Rancho San Diego (get it?). As far as a common last name is concerned, I'm a little leery of that idea, since it smacks of scary cultism. So, if you're willing, you and I can get married and I'll take the last name of Torrey, in honor of the coolest place I've ever played golf. The rest can marry each other if they wish. If that's not an option, then perhaps we can name ourselves "Group W" in remembrance of the "Group W Bench", on which Arlo Guthrie spent his day at the Armed Forces Induction Center as hilariously detailed in "Alice's Restaurant"...get a copy, listen, have a laugh!!!Peace, love and pain relief!!!Cliff
Guest guest
Well I think Cliff has a great suggestion, but it had better be someplace that has good doctors so that pretty much leaves out Oregon. So anybody have an idea where this RSD compound should be. I think since it was Cliff's suggestions we should be called the Cliff Hangers . Okay so maybe I haven't had enough sleep lately. take care let me know when we figure out where we are living. Lin Cliff - Now that certainly is an idea worth consideration.
