And with all my major joints failing and multiple surgeries the Ortho Doc decided to switch me to Oxycontin. I have both chronic Moderate- Severe constant pain, plus acute pain when something tears. I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I do not have a pain management Dr. Ortho is prescribing all the pain meds. Should I have something else for breakthrough pain?
