Hi, -

Before you think you're going crazy, you should know that it was the moderator

from Thryvors that you were chatting with, and the Thryvors files that you

letter was posted in. Different groups :-)

Regardless of the cause, weight loss of 7 pounds a week is not a good thing,

even if you were trying to lose weight. How do you know this is related to

your thyroid? When you say you've got seven of the

symptoms, I'm guessing that you're referring to hyperthyroidism, which would be

my guess, too, although many of us have a hard time losing weight after thyca,

even with a suppressed TSH (making us

hyperthyroid). Can you tell us what other symptoms you're experiencing?

Do you know what your TSH is?

My guess is that while your TSH may be overly suppressed for your tolerance,

there is probably something else going on which is aggravating any thyroid

related symptoms. Is it possible that you have

developed some allergy or sensitivity that is causing your food to remain

unmetabolized? If your GP is not taking this seriously, then I would suggest

you might want to consider finding one who will.

best wishes -
