Guest guest
Lucy, Sorry this is late. I just wanted to say welcome! I am Gena, 38, in Alaska, married 20 yrs. We have 2 girls, Niki 19 and Cassie 13. At my heaviest I was 284, I am 5'3 " . I am 207 now. A work in progress. :-) I feel it is all about lifestyle and habits. We can do this! Don't feel bad about gaining and being heavier. We have all done it and understand. I went from 284 to 220 one time. Gained it all back. Then 284 to 230, again gained it all back. This time, the final time!!!! I have lost the weight slower but for the most part have been keeping it off. I did gain back some, I was 195 last summer but got up to about 216 and now 207. The thing is, it doesn't matter how much you gain back or how many times as long as you keep trying. If you gave up think of what would happen? I know I would gain it all and then some! So even if you have minor setbacks, as long as you keep trying, you are doing good! We will help you and support you all we can. We were doing a spreadsheet for the weigh ins but that member has left so I think we will get back to what we used to do. Just put it in a post and let us cheer you on! In the previous years we have had Mondays or Fridays for weigh in days, whichever you prefer. It is only if you want to. I tend to only post a weigh in when I lose.
