Guest guest
My eldest son was recently tested for CD since his brother has it. His test came back negative on antibodies, but he nutrition metabolic panels came back identical to his brother with CD -- except for high iron. I find the high iron disturbing b/c our vitamin and mineral supplements do not contain iron and I would not think a diet of red meat 3 to 4 times a week would cause levels to be elevated. Our water is city processed and should not have high iron levels as do the wells northwest of us. Of course, breakfast cereals are fortified... My eldest has the DQ2 gene from daddy... Any insights?
