Guest guest
My daughter went to CT in Toluca Lake. For the fitting, they put the helmet on to make sure it fits correctly. They may shave some foam in certain areas. It should not fit tight but it shouldn’t be so loose that it covers an eye or ear. They go over everything with you! I hardly had any questions when they were done. They give you a pamphlet of all kinds of information on how to clean it, how long to wear it each day and what to look for as far as skin irritation. Most importantly, in the first couple days, or maybe just one day, you take the helmet off every couple hours to make sure there are no red spots that don’t disappear after about 20 minutes. Our helmet fit correctly right away and there were no red spots or issues at all. We went to 22 hours a day by day 2. My husband went with me but there wasn’t much to it. My daughter didn’t mind it at all, ever, throughout the 3 months she wore it. They’ll have you go back in 1 week to check the fitting and make sure there aren’t skin problems. I met with and she is very caring and helpful. I could have just gone by myself but brought my husband so I didn’t miss any information. Let us know how it goes… Deanna, daughter Charlene born 2/16/06 (plagio/tort DocBand 9/9/06 – 11/9/06 graduated!!) I live in the city of Carson. I'm not really sure what to expect. Do I need another person to come with me during the fitting? My husband is working but my mom is willing to go if I need her. What do I need to ask them? Please help! Anxious mom
