Guest guest
Hi , My baby is currently in a DOC band for plagio, and currently goes to the Cranial Technologies location I assume you are thinking of taking your sons too. (Oak Brook, IL.) has been in his DOC band for about a month and we have seen improvement in his plagio, however we've had problems with the band rubbing and giving him a raw scabby rash and having to leave the band off similar to what you are describing happened with the Starband. In spite of our problems with the rash and having to leave the band off, we have seen improvement with his head shape and they have been good about trying to fix the problem that is causing the rash. Also, I don't know how often you need to go into the office with the Starband, but Cranial Technologies has us come in once a week (and more lately as they have been watching his rash and trying to determine when he is o.k. to go back to wearing the band). So I'm just giving you info on my experience with Cranial Technologies so far to help with your decision whether to make the trip up here for CT or stay with your Starband location in St. Louis. , Mom to , 6.5 months > > Hi all - I read here alot but haven't posted much lately.
