Guest guest
Hi, My son is getting his first DOC band tomorrow and I wanted to be prepared to decorate. I just got back from s where I picked up some acrylic paint, stickers and varnish. I recently read the decorating tips posted in the files here which were extremely helpful (thanks!). My question is: After applying some primer with a foam brush can I also use a foam brush for the base coat acrylic paint or do I need to get a different type of brush? I only picked up foam brushes. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi - Yes, just use a foam brush for the paint and varnish as well. They cover really nicely. I personally didn't use a primer, but I've heard they work. I wanted the freedom to redecorate often, so I didn't want anything too permanent. I'm not sure how long the primer lasts, or if it's easy to remove? Can someone else chime in on that? I'd like to know for my own reference. Thanks! Have fun decorating! And good luck with the band!
