Guest guest
Thank you so much for printing that. I'm trying to teach my doctor and it is becoming a daunting process. Partly because of the lack of real knowlege on both of our parts. She is willing to prescribe, and has faith in me that I know what I'm doing. I'm going to print this out and give a copy to her. Thanks, Tigger

Actually, my new year's resolution is going to find one within an hour of me here in NC - or train one if necessary. Cindi

In fact, it would be interesting for lots of folks here to copy and it and take to to their docs. We'd be curious how they respond. Guest guest
I have to see her in January... she's opening a new practice... and I will bring it then. She has been the most caring doctor I ever met. Great sense of humor too. She knows that I'm high intuitive about my body and when I say there is something wrong, it usually is. I had told her for months that I had cysts on my ovaries... she tested and couldn't find any. Finally I called my GYN and she did a transvaginal ultra sound... yep, cysts on both ovaries. When I told my doctor she wasn't surprised all she said was, " I cannot write Ruth's (my real name) intuition on a form as a diagnosis. " We both laughed. She agreed that if she could write that as a diagnosis it would save us a lot of time. I will let you know what she says. Guest guest
Not sure yet if she meets all the requirements. I'll keep you posted. She is a great PCP.... for me. She knows I do my research and has respect for my knowledge. As for prescribing Armour... don't know yet. She knows I'm taking it and that I got it on line and said to me to take and and then let her know what I think since I had it anyway..... and was going to do it anyway. I believe she tested the Free's and has been working with my symptoms for over a year.... but at first and still believes that I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I'm out to prove to her that even if it is fibro or CFS that the symptoms can be lessened with thyroid wellness. I will let you all know. Hugs, Tigger Re: NATURAL THYROID 101 for newbies and others > Janie...this reminds me...do we keep a list in the Files of docs this group recommends? yea - i know i could look - but it's easier to ask. My middle name is lazy, too. LOL. I was raised in a 50's family where the mom did all the cooking--but the problem is that I never had to do ANYTHING and we had a maid. LOL. Yes, it's called GOOD DOCS and it comes from folks here. The requirements: the doc has to prescribe Armour, test the free's, and pay attention to SYMPTOMS over labs. Tigger's doc may earn that, but I'll wait to hear from her. Janie
