hmmm.... Favorite hobbies... I like to sit at my spinning wheel and spin

wool... I also love to knit!

I sew, and do needlework too... =) Reading is one of those things I can

never do enough of.

Though, gardening is my favorite hobby... its tooo flooded here for it to do

any good right now!

Yep, I agree. A hobby helps you handle the stress... creativity is good for

the soul.

My hobbies are photography, painting and drawing...

I haven't been doing much in my hobbies lately, but they include photography and

various types of art work (stained glass, engraved glass, painting, etc.). I

also like to work with dogs and horses.

My favorite is quilting, but I don't have the space to

do it anymore. I want to convert our dining room into

a sewing/excersise room for me and a computer

room/office for my husband. I do alot of cross stitch

too. I kinda invented my own way of crocheting one

handed as I have a birth injury that incapacitates one

arm. I made a blanket a couple of years ago and put it

away for when my son grows up and has kids in case I

can't make one then. I'm lucky. I'm not exceptionally

good at any of the needle work, but I'm blessed with a

family that loves any thing I make for them - so I get

extra pleasure out of it. I want to try something I

saw that takes the cross stitch pieces and combines

them with quilting for a kind of frame.

I used to love to read, but my eyes don't really

cooperate well now. I'm a little embarrassed to admit

my weekness for Drew mysteries at my age.

My 16 year old son and I share a love for the classic

Rock music I grew up with so that has become a hobby

we share.

I can't really call shopping a hobby. It is as

neccasary as breathing, after all! Finding a good

bargin is better than s-e-x!

Keeping busy really does work for me to keep my mind

off food.

Sorry for being so long winded.

My hobbies including knitting, cross stitching and quilting. I love to read and

have switched to LARGE PRINT BOOKS. I love them. It's easier on the eyes. My

daughter who is 13 just laughs because the books I get are huge to carry around

because there are so many darn pages because of the large print, but I'm happy!

On another note....to the person who was worried about Byetta...I have been on

this for a few months and have had only a little nausea once in a great while

and I think that's only if I don't eat when I should, otherwise nothing

else.....don't believe everything you read or hear about any medication. We are

all different! Good luck!!

I love scrapbooking, too. I found some really neat photo albums at

Hobby Lobby for $5.99 to put my 'extra' photos in. Can't possibly

scrapbook all of them! Hobby Lobby is just about my favorite store!

And digital cameras are the berries!
