OH WHAT ABOUT WHEN HURRICANES Hi Guys, The island that I live on has about 14.000s year round residents but in the winter high season it might be 50-60,000tourists. We say we hate it but really we love it because it is what feeds our economy! I am an RN so my job will pretty much always be secure. IT is Absolutely stunning. I live on the beach, well a house on the beach, right on the white sand and crystal clear blue water. I could go on and on bur I wont bore you!! I love the ocean, even the pacific up here that never warms up. There is just something so healing to about the ocean for me, it was were I used to go and walk for miles and miles. Well that part has changed. so now I will make sure I have a view of the ocean so that I can just watch it from the room. I say we all go to her house for one of our get togethers, at her place.
