Guest guest
My son is nearly 5 months old and his head is quite flat. Initially diagnosed with plagio cephally it has now rotated to brachy cephally. My pediatrician is very against helmets and tells me that the head will naturally round itself out. However, it has been more than two months of trying to reposition and also chiropractic cranial sacral therapy and his head shape is not improving. I am concerned we are not getting the best advice and would like to know if a helmet is our best option. We are currently living abroad in Australia and the helmet clinic here doesn't even see children before the age of 8 months. Please help with any advice you have. I am becoming tempted to fly back to the states to have him treated. If anyone has any great tips on convincing my little guy to sleep on his side, that would be a big help too. Thanks so much.
