Guest guest
At the time of my Grandson's diognosis for Celiac disease, he did have an endoscopy, he was 4 1/2, his behavior had altered drastically, from a happy, laughing toddler he became an angry always growling and frowning little boy, we did not know what to do. His Mother had been diognosed around this time, she had his blood tested at a local lab and it came back negative for Celiac. He still was exhibiting this angry behavior and now was presenting with the most gigantic and angry half dollar size hives all over his body. Now we had to do the rounds of Allergists and dermatoligists, a nightmare. Then my DIL heard about Prometheus Labs and had his blood sent there, that test came back positve, back to the Pediatrican we went, then on to the Pedi GI and an Endoscopy. He has been living a Gluten Free life for over a year now, the house is Gluten Free, even the animals! He is once again the happy laughing boy, I'm not saying he does not display anger, but it is normal anger and he no longer growls! I think children don't know how to express the fact that there stomach hurts all the time and you have to be able to read their behavior to tell if something is wrong internally. --Bye for now, Jane
