Guest guest
Hi, dear friends! I have a little cute son, he is 6,5 months. The pediatrician said that his top soft spot nearly to close. I was upset, because my son has a mild plagio. When I asked a doctor how to treat now & her opinion about helmet, she could say nothing, because in our country there is no experience of using it. But she said to try & do what I consider to do for my son, while the soft spot is open. The soft spot on the top of the baby's head closes when a baby is 4-24 months. if the baby's fontanellas (soft spots) closed, then it's impossible to change his/her skull shape & of course to improve facial assymetry, as far as I know. Then how on the pictures of older plagio kids we see the improvements without a surgery, though kids are elder than 24 months. Sure, I'm happy for them! Can we really improve? Thanks everybody who will reply.
