Guest guest Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 The Texas Department of State Health Services - Office of EMS/Trauma Systems Coordination has an immediate opening for a Program Specialist III (Trauma System Program Coordinator) in the Austin office. Under the general direction of the EMS/Trauma Systems (EMS/TS) Group Manager and in collaboration with other designation staff, the Trauma System Program Coordinator has the following responsbilities: ***Coordinates, plans and conducts in-house and on-site monitoring visits of all program contractors to include review and approval of requirements by contract, statute, rule, criteria, and policies/procedures. ***Assists in the development of policies and training materials as they relate to the program contracts; provides training to and coordinates closely with the EMS/TS Group Funding Specialist regarding contractor financial obligations. ***Enter performance data and reports into the contract management tracking system. ***Receive and review all entities contract reports to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled at the end of each fiscal year or other deadline. ***Compile performance measure data quarterly, annually, or as requested. ***Coordinates and generates the development of contract formats, contractor correspondence and letters, and reports. ***Networks with other appropriate programs and organizations to further the goals of the program.
