She was 8 weeks early, footling breech and an emergency C-section...so she has congential torticollis which we have started PT for and we are seeing a plastic surgeon on July 25th for her plagiocephaly. I found the Cranial Tech website and see that there are no clinic locations near me I am wondering if anyone is in St. Louis Missouri and can help me out with recommendations. Guest guest Posted June 12, 2006 Report Share Posted June 12, 2006 Hi Eryn - I am in St Louis. My son just received his band from StL Childrens hsptl. However, you see a nurse practitioner and then get fitted for the band from the Orthotics and Prostetics Lab also in the hospital. I know there is another lab that does the helmet, it is a PPO helmet, it is their own special helmet that they design. I believe they are called Precision Prosthetics, they were really nice when I talked to them but decided to go with the StarBand since it is an active band/helmet. We are new at this, so that is about all I know at this point, but let me k now if I can answer any other questions!
