Guest guest
I keep hearing about this miracle juice - Noni juice, made from the noni plant from where, Tahiti? I've had a couple of real people mention it, not just " internet " people. It seems to be able to cure everything from hypo thyroid to arthritis to digestive problems... has anyone tried it for hyper or researched it yet? As always, when it sounds too good to be true... well, you know. TIA, Pam B.
Guest guest
Hi Pam, Noni juice is really good - even if it does taste disgusting! My son took it over the winter months - being an ian (autoimmune) he can't take echinacea, and he got throu the winter really well. We can't get it in the UK any more, so I am really upset about that. Can you get it in the States? I wonder if I can somehow get it sent to me via the internet....sorry thinking out loud here! Haven't tried it for hyperT thou, so I can't say anything about that. But it is a good adaptogenic herb. No you can't send things via the Internet, only information ;-) For as long as it's possession isn't illegal in the UK you can import for personal use pretty much anything in the way of treatments; unlicenced medicines for example. There are some exceptions for things that might pose a hazard (meat from foot and mouth infected countries), but otherwise the UK is literally a free country in this regard - customs duty excepted! Guest guest
Hi, A friend of mine was told by a doctor that since noni juice is not regulated that it's never the same... He told her it's good but to get a certain brand... She said the difference is that the good stuff costs an arm and leg and the cheap stuff is not the same... Her husband had heart by pass surgery and was told to get drink noni juice... She asked the Dr. if she could buy the stuff at health food store and that is when she was told that the stuff there is not the same thing... Everyone has seen reports of somethings sold in health food stores where amount of ingredients change because they are not regulated... Guest guest
Hi Pam B, I heard about this first a few years ago, since then I have also heard some things not so good about it. Your right, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...so tread cautiously, you have so many things going on in your life right now, plus you have a new ND, a new GP and Bastyr treating you...if it was so great, wouldn't they have brought it up to you? Maybe talking to all of your care treaters would be a much better idea? My husband and I tried noni juice for probably 6 months and noticed no change so we dropped it. The brands we found tasted rather good though - I was thinking maybe shaken over crushed ice with something a little more festive added - but alas we dropped it before I had a chance to try that. My hubby has had very good results from SAM-e for arthritis. The fexibility in his hands has increased substantially and pain in his arms has diminished. The brand he is using is Nature Made. I've heard that there is quite a difference between brands. Bertta
Guest guest
Now this is weird. I must know half a dozen people that sell this stuff and they ALL use the same line. Sounded reasonable the first couple times I heard how they only sold it at cost because they wanted to help others. ??? Debbie wrote : A neighbor of ours uses noni juice, not sure of the brand name. He did mention there are different brands out there. He said you have to get the good stuff which is more expensive, but said once you start taking it you can gradually reduce the amount. I could get some information from him if you're interested. Debbie R.

Guest guest
Hi Pam: Sorry this is late, I just returned from a camping trip up the Mountains. Yes, I drink the noni juice from Tahiti, TNJ. I have been drinking this since June of 2001. Because I am my own distrubutor, I can't actively go out on the email lists and say, yeah this juice works for a wide range of health problems. This I will not do. Take care, -- Noni Juice I keep hearing about this miracle juice - Noni juice, made from the noni plant from where, Tahiti? I've had a couple of real people mention it, not just " internet " people.
