Guest guest
Answers to questions:) " Coop " is 7 months old. Doc wanted to wait until the 9 month check up. Was breastfeed until about 7 months. He lays on his nonflat side at night and during nap time since 6 months old. He doesn't flop around, he stays on his side:) His head circum was 25% at 6 months (was 10% when born, increases with every checkup). According to my measurement it has only grown 1/4 of an in. since then. According to my growth calc he would have to grow 1/2 in. by 9 months to stay at 25%, which is alittle over 1mm. I figured the cephalic ratio to be about 93%, which would indicate he has some brachy. A few people suggested putting him on the bulge area sometimes. I am going to do that during nap times and when he is eating/bottlefeeding to put pressure on the bulge. Do you think this will help? I laid him down a 1/2 hr ago on the bulge side and he's having a hard time sleeping, any ideas to help him or should I give him time? Should I train him to sleep on his belly? What could I do so he doesn't roll back on the flat side? (he naps for about 3-4hrs total a day). I will lay him on nonflat side (or less flat?) at night to help with brachy. I am starting a new photo folder, to which I hope the old one is deleted. I added 2 pics of " Coop " on the left side. Difference between 6 months and a little over 7 months. Thanks for the encouragement! Looks like I have some training to do and lack of sleep to look forward to:p More advice is always good! I would like to continue with repo because I see alittle difference from month 6 to 7... > > > > > > Pic is under COOPER (baby in bathtub, single pic) > > > Our doc wants us to try repositioning.
