Tracie,

I know what you mean about trying to keep everything together. I'm

sure you have to battle with the insurance company again, what a pain,

OK I won't go there :-( .

And the eating right, that would kill me, but i am trying to do it too,

in hopes that I won't have problems with diabetes, but I am so bad at

"chocolate" it is my major down fall.

I buy peanut M & Ms in the XXXL size

:-D . I figure it has peanuts in them, so that's better

then the plain, right?? :-\ .

Tracie take care of yourself, and if you need to vent about insurance

co's or anything, let me have it girl, I can take it!!

Love ya,

Marla

As for me, I did get my Remicade

infusion last week, just finished my pulmonary rehab program, so am

trying to keep the momentum going so that I don't regress. I'm in

flare-- and with winter setting in-- my body is in more pain. The

center that I'm going to for my infusions was just approved for

certification-- and they want me to use the hospital pharmacy to buy my

meds, so that I can keep getting the infusion there. so, this means

another battle, because my insurance forces me to go to their

contracted one.

I'm also fighting diabetes now-- so am trying to learn to eat correctly

so that I can breath easily and keep the sugars low. This is where I

am struggling- my brain just gets overwhelmed trying to figure it out.

Do take care of yourself, and know that we are all here to help as we

can.

Compassion for all,

Hi Tracie,

Hang in there! It is not fair that we have to fight the Insurance Companies

as well as this disease, but we do! Mine did not approve the Remicade yet.....

I am going to see my Rheumi on the 17th and I am going to ask him to try

again to get it approved. I think the Imuran has helped me a lot but I also

feel like I need something more...................

Please take care of yourself! We will all be fine.

Love ya,

Darlene

Tracie,

I am glad you had a good time on your trip, but I am so sorry to hear about your

accident. Just take time to take care of yourself. By the way, does anyone

know how Kim is doing? Better I hope.

Praying for your quick recovery and a better car than you had....

I know that you are an experienced visualizer, but I didn't know if you knew that you can help direct your dreams. Sweet dreams, toots.

Yeah, I was aware that you can direct your dreams. Someday, I'll share my experience in a dream class. It was excellant!

Ooooohh, Tracie. I just read an article in Reader's Digest about dreams & the newest research. You can use your dreams for healing. Before you go to sleep (or try to sleep), visualize your neck healing. Incorporate as many senses as you can (for the sense of smell, you may have to think of Ben-Gay) & imagine your relief as the pain leaves. Then you may have a dream that seems unrelated, but if you think about it, you can find associations, not just with this pain, but others. I'm really big on dream work; I led (okay, co-led) a workshop once on Dreams & Spiritual Growth. I'd love to do more, but it takes so much time & a working memory helps too.

Anyway, I know that you are an experienced visualizer, but I didn't know if you knew that you can help direct your dreams. Sweet dreams, toots.
