I agree with you regarding WW On The Go. I've been using it since it was

brought up. If I put a whole days worth online it takes longer to synch,

than if I just do a meal, or a snack. I am also using a cable modem. I

really understand those who are dialup because I think it takes a long time

for cable, I can't imagine how long on dialup. When its time for a shower,

or to go do something, I just synch it and forget about it. I also like the

idea that the database is up to date. The non sanctioned version was really

great, but since I subscribe to E Tools, might as well use it.

WW On-The-Go

Well, I had ended my E-tools membership a few months ago, but this new

PDA program really intrigued me. I just downloaded it to my Palm and I

have to say that I'm very impressed. Yes, it's a definite memory hog

(around 4MBs), but, luckily, I didn't have that many programs on my

Kyocera to begin w/. Just a few games and WWCalc of course.

I really like being able to sync it up w/ the on-line program. That way

if my PDA isn't handy or I just happen to be doing other stuff on the

comp., I can just plug in my data on-line and then sync it all up when I

get home that night.

I have a cable modem, so it seemed to sync at a decent pace. I would

say it took around 5-10 minutes or so, but I've only synced twice, so

I'm not sure if this varies w/ the amount of new information or what.

Definitely not a sync that you want to do as your running out of the

door in the morning. =)

So, so far, so good. The interface is very user friendly and it has a

points calculator. Plus, the database is current and, I assume, will be

updated often. That's really all I care about. =)

I thought I'd give my .02 cents about the WW-on-the-go program. I'm really

enjoying it and it's making me actually USE my PDA! My husband bought me a

Clie awhile ago, but I've always been a paper-and-pen kind of girl when it

comes to my " to-do " lists and I usually use my email program's calendar to

keep track of appointments.

So finally my expensive neglected electronic toy is being used!

Since I didn't have a whole lot on my Clie (I was only using 3 MB out of 15)

I had plenty of room for the program.

I would go nuts waiting for it to sync if I had a dial-up connection,

because it takes awhile to do it even with cable.

I think it's very easy to use and I actually took my vitamin this morning.

It has activity, water, fruits/veggies, milk, and vitamin all listed with

little check boxes on the same page with the food journal. I always forget

my vitamin and forget to mark off my water, etc...when I'm using the paper

journal. Maybe I just needed everything on one page.

Anyway, I really like the program.
