There was a recent thread regarding source material. I found a

mention of the following book, published in March of 2000, priced

about $85 (probably available for less by now). To be honest, I

don't have the book, haven't read the book, but two heavy-hitters

from UCSF, Drs. Quan-Yang Duh and Orlo H. , are contributors

(Dr. Duh was my wonderful surgeon!) This is probably not an

introductory, patient-oriented book, but it might be an interesting

reference volume for " inquiring minds " .
