Guest guest
Hi Sue! I had a fna done due to one nodule and the lab report said I have hashimoto's thyroiditis. I have not had a antibody test done. My symptoms: ringing in ears, fatigue, numbness/tingling fingers and feet, feeling cold then hot, intolerance to cold or hot, constipation, diarrhea, can't concentrate, forgetful, muscle aches, headaches, eyes gritty and feel inflammed, sore throat, sinus infections, feel like something in my throat, coughing, clearing throat, and hoarness. What are your symptoms? Are you on any thyroid meds? Take Care! Cindy > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Sue! > > > > I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Guest guest
WOW! Pass that dr around! Congratulations! First, she looked at results and said everything looked good and even said that the ft3 and ft4 are in the upper 1/3 range. Then she said either I can wait two months or start on thyroid hormone. I thought what the heck.....I am not in the hyper mode and why not try it. She prescribe me Levothroid(Levothyroxine) .125 mg. I will be taking my first pill tomorrow morning. She says that if I am still like this from 2-3 yrs she would recommend surgery. She said that if I have aaannnyyy problems with this brand that she would be willing to try other brands. Someone answered my prayer/wish/ or whatever. I have caught myself tearing up because I have been struggling for about a year. I just want to feel better and get my life back together.
