If it's not working, you need to talk with your parents--take her up on the phone call if you think that will help. In the meantime, can you talk to someone at the tech school? They should have some assistance somewhere...try to find out. You're not the first student that attended and needed to find a job. They may have some suggestions for work that you can do at school. Tell them your situation--that you feel you are desparate. School's should have properly trained staff to assist--you need to do this TODAY since the holiday is coming up and people will be out of town.
