You can eat the rind, but it tastes sort of chalky. You also want to

have the cheese at room temperature to get the full flavor and aroma -

or cold, if you don't care for the full flavor and arome, which can

be pretty strong :)

Brie, along with Camembert, should be eaten at room temp,

To discard that rind is sacrilege.
