Dear Joyce and ,

I live in Virginia and my four little girls have been asking for a

puppy for several years now. With four girls, ages 4 - 11 years old and home

schooling, I didn't feel like adding a puppy (before my surgery) was a good

idea.

The funny thing is this -- my four year old has been asking for a

poodle ever since I bought her Bridgette (the pink Beanie Baby poodle from

TY).

My best friend lives in Florida (Orlando) and is willing to drive to

South Florida to pick up the puppy. She is scheduled to come and visit me on

Feb. 19th. She would be flying from Orlando to Va. The flight is an hour

and 45 minutes. We could see about taking Mr. Beau aboard the plane or

crating him for the short flight.

I haven't talked to my husband and , of course, asked for him

first. I just thought I'd throw this out to see what happens.

I think we're ready for a puppy and Mr. Beau sounds precious. Joyce,

you mentioned something about hurting his paw? Is he okay?

Just let me know what you both think, Joyce and .

Lots of love,

Trace

Great idea since he is a toy poodle. He should fit under the seat in a soft

carry on pet crate. There has been some recent things in the news about

airlines not shipping pets anymore. It may be hard to find one that would

put the dog in cargo. An itty bitty dog under the seat should still be

allowed. Trace, I hope this all works out for you. The kids will have a

blast.

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our

breath away...

Joycies Mr. Beau

Okay guys,

I am willing to take this little darling. I am in Louisiana. I have helped

with rescues before and done transports. SO...... if anyone would be willing

to help get him at least part of the way here....... If anyone is willing,

please email me privately....... would need to be between south Florida and

Mississippi coast....... I am south central Louisiana.

Lets see what we can work out. Unless someone closer is interested in this

little dear. Lets see what we can get worked out.

Hugs, Romero

How wonderful, Trace! I was just praying last night about a home for Mr. Beau

-- for some reason God put him on my heart.

Hope your " new addition " works out. ;-))))))

Trace and Joycie,

This sounds like the perfect solution. Yes he would be able to be in a little

carrier, a soft one, from like petsmart would work, or wal-mart has them as

well.

He can go on the flight, slipped under the seat for take off and landings.

Have done this before myself........ years ago.

Trace, your girls would be terrific for this little guy. I will back off, but

if it does not work out....... I got dibbs okay? :) But when you get him,

give him a hug and kiss from auntie :)

I too have been praying for this little guy and for Joycie, my heart goes out

to her. She is a wonderful woman.

Hugs,

That is a great idea! A toy poodle, as long as the carrier fit under the seat,

could easily be taken as carry-on luggage. Most airlines have no problem with

this, and it is a short flight.

Hooray for Mr. Beau!!!
