Guest guest
How much salad dressing are you using? What kind of tuna is it oil pack or water pack? The 11 point sandwich is probably using full fat mayo and tuna packed in oil. I can make a tuna sandwich for 5 points using light bread (Orrow wheat whole wheat lite, 2 slices = 1 point!), 2 gram fat mayo (1 tablespoon,25 cals, 2 grms fat= 1 point) and 1/2 cup water pack tuna (3 points according to WW online point tracker). It all depends on what you put on it. I would also add tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce. Sounds yummy, thanks for the lunch idea! points for tuna sandwich Well on my points list it says 1/2 cup of tuna canned is 5 points, but I'm trying to get as exact a figure as possible on a sandwich. The points list also says tuna salad sandwiches are 11 points but that seems very high for the way we're making them. I am using canned tuna with Miracle Whip light salad dressing and 0 point salad mix. I use the Hillbilly whole-grain bread which is 1 point per slice. Can someone help come up with a ballpark estimate for me? Joanne
