well today, (saturday) was my first official weigh in since i joined

the group. my weight was 180.4. this will be my new starting weight

even though i've been losing for a year. i'd like to take a fresh

start. i originally had a long term goal in mind, but i think now

i'll concentrate on a smaller goal and work myself up. my new goal

will be 160.

today i started a new goal eating wise as well. i've decided to try

and have one meal a day be salad. tonight i had a grilled chicken

salad for dinner, and i felt great. i'm a really picky eater, and i

usually never eat salad, but i have a hard time getting in my

veggies, so here i go. i actually was pretty good.

i've also been kicking up my water intake. i've been drinking a

decent amount of water, but now i'm going to try to reach 60-90 oz a

day. by reading the posts i've learned that i should be drinking

from 1/3 to 1/2 my weight depending on my activity level, so i

thought that was a nice range.

well, here's to a fresh start!!!

I think it's important NOT to have to long term goals, but to have smaller

ones that are easier to reach! That way there is a " prize " when that goal

is met, and a new small goal can be set!!
