Der Spiff, there you be!

Any feedback on why NON organic Selenium is TOXIC to us humans? It’s been a “hot topic” since you last wrote.

Sue

Poor kid! Here's a hug, you are in my prayers!

Hi Ya E --

If I wasn’t a hanger-on-er who won’t give up, I wouldn’t be here today to cheer you up :)

Stubbornness pays off when raised by wolves!

I really am curious about the Selenium since I did just order some ... Ya know?

Well, it's not toxic and it is. To explain: Since most of the selenium out there is a derivitive of copper mining, it is toxic when you take too much. There's an organic way to get it too. Since you have to be logged in to the site, I'll just copy and paste the info. Thanks, Spiff — I think with just 100 mcg daily I will be ok then... Who ever really knows any way, ya know?

Hi Ya Spiff, aka not-a-Vet; aka Female; aka no-sex change! LOL!

Selenium is THE TOPIC of the week :)

My order is STILL on back order in fact!

Sue

Not a dr ( but I play one on tv.......lol yaright ) but that don't sound like too awful much. I just don't know how fast it processes out of the body vs how much you take in. Like B vitamins for example, being water soluable. I'm still gonna get the math back to you all on this. This topic really took off!

MAN, looking at that, I'm pretty high maintenance!LMAO!! I like, and this is just me talking, not suggesting, but I like looking into the animal side of the meds. If you get the good pure ones, they're just as good for humans, and you can get more for less $$. This works for me, but may not for anybody else. I'm just weird that way I guess.
