Unfortunately they were all quite damp and I wound up throwing them away in a royal hissy fit of pure anger. I probably could have salvaged about half of them if I'd have had any sense about me. I got a new script from the doc for 2.5 grains, but I've lost it. I think it got tossed with the garbage, so I'll have to call on Monday and ask for it again. Maybe this time I'll just go pick it up. I think I know what happened to it though. I put some mail in the plastic bag with the newspaper to go in the house so I don't drop the mail. I don't think it made it out of the bag and hubby just dumps the bag into the recycle bin without opening the paper. That's the only explaination I can come up with for why it isn't in the car where I left it when I opened it. I've also been royally pissed today. My sister wrote me a check for her part of the monthly bills and it bounced this morning and as a result, I've bounced at least 5 checks. 4 bills and one breakfast at Cracker Barrel. This one simple check has cost me $142.50 in fees. The bank went ahead and paid everything, thank goodness, bit it was an expensive mistake and I will not accept any more checks from her. She will be required to give me cash for her meager portion of the bills. She makes almost as much as Len and I combined. She has the master suite upstairs, yet she only pays a third of the bills and rent and refuses to pay on the phone bill because she has her own line upstairs, even though she talks on the main line downstairs whenever she wants. I'm sorry, it's been the week from hell and what hasn't deserved to be royally fought over has been over-reacted to lately. I just can't seem to control my anger and disappointment lately and THAT'S starting to get next to me as well. I NEED this increase in meds, but I just haven't been able to afford to fill the script and now the script is gone. WOW!!! So sorry to hear all that Kitz: I don't blame you for feeling full or rage. I think you just need to vent. I wonder if you can't find a place to go scream you head off!!! Sometimes the shower is a great place! The mental aspects of this thing are horrible...and yes it does sound like you are right. I little dose change might help. I think you sis is taking advantage of you and it would really help if you could toss her out. Maybe...its just one of those things you have to put on the back burner until you can get some of your more personal stuff resolved. Maybe you can wiggle some money out of her just for the pills for now. Your hubby sounds like a patient man...and that is a big plus. Don't forget to give him a hug. I can't get any money from my sister until she gets paid on Thursday and she has admitted that she owes me for the overdraft charges as well as the amount of the check. As for throwing her out, I don't have control over that because the house is inherited property and my brothers hold the control over it. I could probably tell my brother in charge and he would have words with her over it, but I don't think he'd kick her out and Len and I can't afford to live here alone. We wouldn't be able to pay the bills and with the medical bills I've now got coming in from all the danged kidney stuff makes it hard to afford it WITH her living here. It probably wouldn't tick me off as badly if she bothered to chip in and help with things like housework and dishes. She has yet to even touch the vacuum or do dishes. She has started at least putting her dishes in the dishwasher most of the time now. That at least helps some, but yes, she is taking advantage of us. The good news is, I found the prescription for the med increase, so all I need to do is take it to the drug store and get it filled. I get paid Friday and Len gets paid Thursday, and if my sister gives me what she owes me, I can pay off some of the smaller medical bills without being too overtaxed. It's her turn to buy cat food, but I went ahead and got it at the store last night. I had to use a credit card, but we needed a few groceries. I actually only went to get bread, peanut butter, cat food, grape jelly (the only thing hubby will eat) and milk. I walked out of the store $86 later. If I feel one coming on, so to speak, I buy a jug and drink all of it throughout the day, has worked every time. I get a kinda stuffed up head from the citric acid they put in there but I'd rather have sinus than that! One day I woke up, sure an infection was starting, bought 2 of the smaller jugs and drank them that day. Kidneys still hurt..........until I went to do something and my back popped! She turned her Boyfriends grandma on to it and it worked so well for her she turned her other lady friends on to it. I forgot all about this. I bought some called BioTech and it's really good. Tastes like earwax, but it does the trick. Works really well for sinus infections as well. However you use it make SURE you mix it with water!!
