I'm back and I think her head is in bad shape again

Cassie is now going on three, she had a helmet when she was under 1

and wore it from like 8 months -11 months. I think we are in trouble

again, i just noticed her right forhead looks more protruded than her

left. can they do anything for her at this age??? Any one with

experience on helmets in 2-3 year olds?

I would visit the older plagio board and possibly call the banding

facility that you banded her at to see what they say. It seems odd

that her head would have been corrected and now at 3 is mis-shappened

again??? I only say that because I thought once the sutures fused

(around 2) that the head couldn't improve or get worse. Let us know

what you find out.

I am so sorry you are seeing her head as mishappen again. I was under the impression that once the sutures fused the head woul remain in that shape and then the skull only grew thicker. Very interesting if her skull is infact become mishapped. Can you see a craniofacial dr? Or a neurosurgeon? It would be interesting to hear what they have to say.

I do remember reading and seeing pic (i think at the older plagio board) of a boy who had a band at 4 (i think) not sure if it helped or not. It might be good to look over there.
