Guest guest
Hi Sue, My leader told us that the new program comes out August 22. She said that it is in addition to the Flex Points. It is very structured. The Quik Trak journals and the 12 week journals are both changing, for the better (bigger lines etc). Also, the new plan recommends earning 4 APs per day/ 28 APs per week. That is all that we have heard so far. Maureen New program Does anyone know about the new program? Any info would be appreciate like when are they planning to announce it at meetings? thanks, Sue

Guest guest
Now are they JUST recommending that people exercise more often or are they putting a curb on how many AP's you can exchange for food? If the latter is the case, I think that's interesting they would curb people on their AP's again. I bet some WWers fell into that " exercise so they can eat more " trap that people talked about with some of the older plans. I rarely eat mine at all, unless I feel hungry at night after my run. But, if they're just recommending that people start moving more, I think that's awesome! Some form of exercise should be a definite part of this plan and it can really pull you out of a plateau. Women in my WW class are constantly complaining that they're not losing any weight. BUT, when our leader, , asks if they're exercising, the answer is almost always " no. Guest guest
I am not sure about how many you can eat in the new program, didn't think to ask about that. She said that they are encouraging everyone to move more because the science is supporting movement helps! I thought that was great!!! We had a bunch of people that started whining about it. One person said ..... " OMG, that is a lot! I am really working hard to get 2 APs 4-5 days a week, how could I possibly get more? " HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go for a walk....lift a light weight...etc, earning 2 points is not that hard! Now understand this is a young college kid and probably earns that by walking around the campus, but it was just the idea that she was whining about it. Sorry, just my rant! Guest guest
Now I have to admit that getting 4 AP's EVERY DAY will be kind of tough. I tend to veg out on the weekends, so Sunday I usually earn negative 5 AP's. =) I think encouraging exercise is the best part of the new plan. One of my co-workers lost almost all of her weight (50+ lbs.) w/out exercising BUT she has two young kids and her weight loss did start to slow down when she got close to goal. So, even though she wasn't doing a structured exercise like running or biking, she was earning AP's. =) 166/153.8/130 (all-time high 175) New program > > > > > > Does anyone know about the new program?
