Guest guest
Hello everyone, Thanks for the birthday wishes and yes he had a wonderful birthday! He had a the train party with all the fun, including a real train that went up and down the street. He really enjoyed his party this year, I think four is such a wonderful age. For those of you wondering how a big boy will do still wearing the shoes, well Trenton is a perfect example of a big boy and yes he still wears his shoes at night. He has always been big (not heavy just stocky), off the charts for weight and height. He now wears 5T and as active as ever. We had some problems last month where he continually complained that his feet hurt at night when we put his shoes on. Someone here posted that some pain may be related to growing pains, and I think that's what some of your may experience as your children get older. That was difficult, but now he is back to normal and wears his shoes all the time with an occasional night off here and there only because he is now 4. Dr. Ponseti says he doesn't have to wear them anymore, but if he will tolerate them keep going..so we will. For those of you at the beginning of your journey hang in there. Looking back it seems just like yesterday that we started this journey and I can't believe four years has past so quickly. I don't want him to stop wearing his shoes. Take Care, Charity and Trenton (8-24-00)
