Yes its the LOC Band helmet they hope for a 50% improvement.  I am going on Tuesday to get a 3rd opinion from a DR Belcher who is meant to be an expert in this he practices in Switzerland and Germany as well. Will keep you posted ! Re: my daughter is 17 months has anybody started treatment at this age? My son did extremely well from the very first day. He slept in it the first night without any problems and is now to a point where he will go get his "hat" from the dining room table on his own so we can put it back on each night after his bath. I just checked out the LOC Band online. In appearance, it looks more like a STARBand or Hanger Band, but they all work the same way. Is the provider of the LOC Band the one that said you could get 50% improvement? It looks like they only treat babies up to 14 months old. I see that you got some responses about STARBands being available in England. Have you looked into them yet? They will treat babies up to 18 months (to begin treatment), so they might be a better option. But

again, it's whoever you feel most comfortable with. I would look for whoever has the most confidence and a positive attitude about beginning the process at a late age. Obviously, if you only have one choice in helmet, I would still say it's worth a shot at doing it, but if it's between 2 different ones, I would say go with the one you feel most confident with. Please keep us posted!
