Guest guest
Wonder if we should email Barbara, whom I no longer respect anyways! Or the producer? Is there an article that we can read about darling Rosie's big mouth comments on this? I can't stand the woman. Boy, would she flip a wig if someone put down lesbianism. That's all they talk about on this liberal show. I really started watching it for a few days just to see how she did. HAH! That was enough for me! God help her children!!! I will write about her comments about The runaway bride though. Tammy Here's another link if you want to email Rosie at "The View" about her "Muppet" comment. The email links are on the left... Guest guest
They were making all sorts of lesbian jokes this morning, Rosie included. I understand that her comment struck some chords, but afterall, she is a comic . I sent an email to her telling her that she had upset some folks, so we'll see if she mentions it along the way. I think her children are doing just fine. What exactly is it about her that your can't stand. If Joy had made the same comment, would people be offended? What did Barbara do to lose your respect? I think she is an amazing woman... Judy Wonder if we should email Barbara, whom I no longer respect anyways! Or the producer? Guest guest
you know, i like rosie a lot, but i think that she gets called out more for the things she says (than say, joy-whom i LOVE) because joy gives equal crap to everyone, and she isnt very pushy with her points! she's quite a bit more passive than rosie. but honestly, it's that elizabeth hasslebeck who totally grates on my nerves. i hate when she spazzes out at people for having their own opinions, i cant watch it anymore b/c of her. its not even that i DISAGREE with her opinions, but she is just so selfish and disrespectful of others that i can not stand her. rosie might be a liberal lesbian but hasselbeck is an overzealous fascist. -Eve- Re: Re: The view/Rosie Is there an article that we can read about darling Rosie's big mouth comments on this? Guest guest
I knew she was going to mudsling a lot that I believe in the very day that I heard that she was going to be on the show. This is exactly why I didn't want her on there, and she has been doing exactly what I thought she would, using her position to promote what SHE believes in, while the rest of us don't have any right to say anything about anything, and that's my last comment on this sbjct, lol. Making fun of the runaway brides looks is not funny at all. Maybe you think it is. As far as Barbara goes...I don't need to explain all my opinions. They're just my opinions. Guest guest
This is why she should have her own show. Then people can decide if they want to watch "The Rosie Show" instead of "Rosie's View." I knew she was going to mudsling a lot that I believe in the very day that I heard that she was going to be on the show. Guest guest
Hey Spiff, how goes the battle? Rosie's talk show wasn't originally taken off the air when she stopped doing it. Carolyn Rhea hosted for a little while, but I don't think it lasted long. I think Rosie quit to go back to stand-up and spend more time with her kids. She also wanted to come out as gay so that she could fight for adoption rights for gay parents. I guess I'm in the minority as a fan, but I can't rule out all the things that she's accomplished off-camera... Judy Makes ya wonder why Rosie's show was taken off the air...........hmmmmm? Guest guest
She definetly doesn't know the definition of "couth".....I know I said in an earlier post that I thought she was ok, but the more I think on it, no, I really DON'T like her. Regardless of how her gate swings. A loud mouth can come in any flavor.SpiffCindy wrote: I soooooooop agree with you Spiff !!! I for the life of me never figured out how somebody's sexual habits should get them off the hook or special treatment. Lots of gay people use that as an excuse I think. Kinda like,> "Hey, that was a mean thing to say, you should apologize.." "You hate me because I'm gay!" "No I dislike you because you're behaving like a jackass!" Why they bring that issue up and throw it in our face is beyond me. I have plenty of gay friends and none of them make a big deal out of it. So our gates don't swing the same way.... does that affect the price of tea in China? I wish people would get their heads screwed on straight, seriously! This is stupid! Do straight people make a case? NO......then why should gay people...I mean reallly........!> Spiff Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Yahoo! Small Business. Guest guest
Makes ya wonder if Rosie is really comfortable about being lesbian.....usually if somebody brings something up all the time, they've got an issue with it in some fashion. Ellen is pretty funny ya, she's a decent person.Spifftammyco5@... wrote: Yeah, I didn't like her long before I knew she was gay. I like Ellen Degeneres sp.? though. I think she's funny as can be but isn't full of herself and doesn't feel the need to talk all the time about her sexual preference. Tammy In a message dated 10/17/2006 1:32:36 P.M. Guest guest
Well I have to admit that she's done alot for kids, but she makes sure that everybody knows that a gay person is doing it. I personally don't care WHO as long as something gets done. Why should people of a certain preference be looked at in a different way? That's what I could never figure out. We're all people, we all have different needs and wants, dislikes, etc. Why certain points keep being brought to the forefront just makes me wonder. SpiffJudy P wrote: Hey Spiff, how goes the battle?
