Hi everyone,

Alaynah had her first appointment, and it is confermed that she will

be getting a Star Band.

I knew she was getting a scan, but i thought that was a part of the

process, and did not realize that it took the place in having her have

to be casted. So I was SO THRILLED when I found that out.

But anyway her mesuments where pretty much in normal ranges except for

cephalic ratio which was 98.1 and the normal range is 73.3 and a +2

deviation is 82.7. so in that she is pretty wide and flat, and she

has a little bit flatter spot on her right side as well.

So by the 28th she should be getting her helmet.

Thank you all so far for yur encouragement. I really appreciate it,

and as we go into this in the next few months, I am sure I will be

having more questions.

Thanks

Hi! I am so glad Alayna is off and running with the banding

process. While the casting proes isn't always as traumatic as it

looks, it is nice that you were able to get her scanned. Let us

know when she gets her band as how she is settling into it.
