Where can you purchase kefir and what does the packaging look like?

Would you find it refrigerated?

My local co-op does have kefir grains for sale in the refrigerated.

i don't know the brand, but they're super pricey.

I got grains off of freecycle when someone offered them. Getting

them from another kefir-maker is generally the easy way to get

grains. ;)

our local supermarkets and Whole Foods stock a yogurt drink they

*call* kefir. I haven't tried it, but it looks similar to the

commercial kefir I ate/drank in Russia.
