Guest guest
Dear Tarty & Others: This is the first I have ever heard of a fibroid being impossible to remove by Myo b/c of its position! Has anyone else ever heard of this?? My fibroids have not been measured in the last 8 mo or so, yet my doctor (a well-known specialist whom I trust implicitly) is willing to schedule a myo w/out remeasuring them or re-guaging their position(s). I'm sure that if position were an issue, he would be concerned. (wouldn't he???) Has anyone else ever heard of position of a fibroid making it impossible to remove via myo? Has anyone else ever heard of this?? <<< It's not that it isn't possible to remove my fibroid. It is the amount of reconstruction that would be needed, and the possibility of other medical problems afterward that makes me not a reasonable candidate for myomectomy. I am 43, have two grown sons, and not planning on having any other children. So, I can see my doctor's point Tarty
