Guest guest
Hi again, Let me revise my question. I went in for a myomectomy and came out with a surgical procedure to remove the fibroids, another procedure to remove endometriosis, and srill another procedure to remove adhesions. The principal surgeon billed me for four separate procedures whereas the assistant surgeon did not. The billing of the four procedures separately by the principal surgeon has made his bill quite expensive. Is it standard operating procedure for a surgeon to bill separately for procedures in one surgical session, or am I being overbilled? Can anyone help me?
