Guest guest
Hi Thoughts & prayers for . Betty son > Hi all, is having a bad time of things right now. She lost the battle with her 20 plus old kitty today. She had to let Scooter go today. Her little darling jumped off her bed this morning and broke her leg. Her poor kitty already had multiple other health issues so it was time to let her go. Scooter will be buried tomorrow in the daylight. has been holding Scoter's poor little broken, empty, body most of the day. To top it all off, has surgery on Thursday, her B-day. One of those mile stone B-days. (I won't say which one). She can't type right now, But she can read. She will be on the list, but not writing till she recovers from the surgery. In her near future she will have her other shoulder and both knees scheduled for surgery and possibly one hip. Prayers are needed for recovery, and healing, emotionally and physically. If you don't know, she just had her biopsy, and the Drs all looking at types 1, 2, 4, 6, & 7. Thanks to all for your support. Guest guest
Dear , I'm sorry this is coming a bit late. Finding it hard to keep up with all the mails recently :-) When I read about the loss of your dear friend Scooter I just had to write. I have been where you are 3 (actually 4 but 1 wasn't as meaningful) times now and could experience a 4th at any time (have a 17 yr old cat). Scooter was a major part of your life for 20 years. There with you every day. Most people don't even experience that with their immediate family members. The loss is devastating - no matter how they pass on. You may be saying to yourself - if only it weren't such a tramatic event - believe me it doesn't make a difference. A wonderful dog I had for 12 years passed in her sleep 4 years ago and I still have nightmares and wake up crying. As with any wound that runs so deep, it will never go away, but it will get better. I found that remembering all the good times and joy that he or she bought into your life helps. Remember, Scooter shared 20 wonderful years with you don't let that all be erased by one days events. I know thats easy to say but harder to do. I wish you the best with all your upcoming surgeries. Both your body and your soul need some healing time. Good luck with both! Hugs, B.
