Guest guest
> One has to be very careful in presuming that there is a connection or > correlation between chiari and hypothyroidism. Or for that matter, any > other disease process and chiari. Chiari is not the be all and end all > causing all the medical ailments known to mankind (slight exaggeration here > but you get my drift). Where , essentially, agree with what has been said here, I feel that I also have to be somewhat of a devil's advocate. Since we are dealing with the " control box " of the body and it's functions here, I also think that we have to be aware that the ole' Chiari might just be the reason for symptoms that had been atributed to something else. There is still sooooooooooooooooooo much that has to be elarned about this....And I sure do wish that " they " would hurry! <g> I, too, think that this is a great forum for discussing the various symptom possibilities...and lease dn't be hesitant to ask about smething that is bothering you...that's what we are all here for,,,to help and be helped!
