Guest guest
I can handle spicy; but just don't eat it because I can't drink when I eat! LOL! I indulge in some salsa on occasion & that's about it. Greasy & sweet is about the only thing I have problems with. Guest guest
Greesy is bad too!!! Just the smell of french frys makes me feel sick Hugs!! > > I can't stand broccoli; it makes me vomit every time I have it, so I stopped having it. I also don't like the smell of greasy foods; the smell makes my stomach churn. So, fried foods are out for me altogether. My husband still occasionally orders fries with his meals at the restaurants and I just hate it, but not because I am tempted but because they stink! > > > > What foods can you not stand post op???? > > > Pre op I LOVED BBQ, It was my best buddy, post op just the smell of > BBQ sauce makes me nauseas. > > I'm 2 years post op and old habits die hard. Guest guest
I'll eat a bag of beef jerky before these sorts of things. Guest guest
I'll focus on the food on this one because the music isn't my cup of tea (because it sucks, not the tea). I have never eaten food at all at a concert. The stuff is three to four times more expensive and twice as crappy as you can get at a restaurant a block away from any venue. I've talked to my kids about how people will go to concerts, drink many booze drinks at $5 a drink1 so that they get messed up so badly that they barely remember the concert, sometimes get sick, get hung over, etc. Then we briefly cover those that blaze up, shoot up, etc. so they can " better enjoy " the concert. Fortuantly my kids are thoroughly confused by this lack of logic. It's not a tough leap to apply this same mindset to waiting in line for crappy, expensive food while the concert that you paid over $50 probably is being missed. If I pay $50+ for a seat by God I'm having my ass in that seat or, at the least, standing in front of it. That goes for the opening acts too. People don't show up for the opening acts. What sort of nonsense is that? Ahhh it feels good to end the weekend on a rant.
