Guest guest
I just had the flu, and hoping that there are not two types rampant out there this yr. On a nursing floor, you never really know what you will be exposed to until it's too late, but at least this gets one type over with. I'm fine now, except for some congestion. Had I had the shot, the antibodies would have reared their ugly little heads and tails, and I would have been 3 times sicker for 3 times longer. This is something I've had to learn the hard way. It really hadn't dawned on me, until this flu season, or I should say rather, after the last one, that it could have been that flu shot I've been getting for the last 3 yrs that has helped multiply the things in my body. Something that's supposed to be good is actually bad for a lot of us. I'm really not that sure that flu shots actually stop the flu, anyway, as the pharmaceutical industries and researchers that they hire could hype that up too. > --you were smart not getting your flu shot--I was listening to the > news and heard that a nurse had set up a flu shot clinic and had > administered 100 shots to people and it was NOT flu vaccine, they didn't > know what it was!!! I missed hearing where it took place. It was on > the 6 o clock news on nbc. Scary....! > > Hope you all have a good weekend! > Doreen
