Guest guest
Hi Eva, I too have silicone implants, but never had an MRI. I’d call your radiology clinic for info on how they do MRI’s on silicone implants. Guest guest
Hello Eva, I have silicone breast implants and it was very hard for the mammographer to read my film. I am not sure about an MRI. Maybe an ultrasound? I know the biopsy was a stereotactic one. Sharon C Los Angeles Maya Brand wrote: Hi Eva, I too have silicone implants, but never had an MRI. Guest guest
You need to go to a breast clinic that offers breast MRIs. I had one before my surgery to scope out the extent of the cancer. It was highly accruate in my case. I know that MRIs are used for women with implants if there is any suggestion of a problem on other tests or as in your case swelling.
